Streator Fest Calls for Volunteers to Power 2025 Celebration
The biggest party in North Central Illinois is almost here—and it needs your help to make it happen.
Streator Fest, the city’s signature summer event, is looking for volunteers to keep the good times rolling. A volunteer meeting will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, July 10, at the Streator Moose Lodge. Organizers are calling on community members to sign up for roles ranging from ticket takers and bartenders to ID checkers, security, and help with set-up and teardown.
“If you’ve ever asked yourself how you could give back to the community or just be part of something fun and meaningful, this is the moment,” says the festival team. “Streator Fest is powered by volunteers.”
A Festival with Major Headliners
Running from Thursday, July 31 to Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Northpoint Plaza, Streator Fest continues to build on its reputation as one of the largest—and loudest—celebrations in the region. This year’s music lineup is a hard rock and country lover’s dream:
- Thursday: Quiet Riot, Britny Fox, and 80’s Bush
- Friday: Aaron Lewis (of Staind), Sterling Elza, and a soon-to-be-announced third act
- Saturday: Theory of a Deadman, 10 Years, and Revel in Red
- Sunday: Local and regional acts with free admission
The festival also includes a beer garden, more than a dozen daily food vendors, a carnival by Fantasy Amusements, and the largest fireworks display in downstate Illinois, now moved to Sunday evening.
General Admission tickets start at just $10 for Thursday–Saturday, with VIP Party Pit packages available for those who want to get closer to the action (and have their own bathroom access). Sunday’s entertainment remains free, ensuring everyone can experience the fest.
Volunteers: The Unsung Heroes of Fun
Behind the scenes of every guitar solo and funnel cake is a volunteer checking IDs, handing out wristbands, or helping someone find the lost-and-found. Events like this don't magically happen—they require neighbors rolling up their sleeves and pitching in.
The Streator Fest team emphasizes that volunteering is more than just helping out—it's about being part of something bigger. It's an invitation to build memories, forge friendships, and show what Streator can do when people come together.
