Support The Streator Standard
Leave a tip or become a Supporter.
If you like what we're doing here, you can help us do more of it, and do it better.
Reader support means more council meetings covered, more public records requested, more of Streator's history dug out of the archives, and more time spent getting every story right. And it keeps every story open to everyone in town, whether they chip in or not.
There are two ways to chip in. Pick whichever suits you.

Not right now?
That's fine. Reading, sharing a story with a neighbor, and signing up for the free newsletter all help more than you'd think.
Our promise: money never buys coverage. Supporters and tippers don't get a say in what we write, and we don't treat anyone differently for giving. That's laid out in our editorial standards.
